Picking up a dropped stitch

Don’t panic! Unlike life, knitting mistakes can always be fixed.

The Ambrosia yarn does not unravel easily. Most likely if your stitch slipped off your needle, it will be sitting there well-behaved & waiting for you to put it back on the needle. If this is the case, simply grab the stitch with your fingers and put it back on the needle with the right leg of the V is on the front of the needle. Or, you can poke the left needle through the stitch from front to back so that the right leg of the V is on the front of the needle.

If your dropped stitch has unraveled, there is still no need to panic!

With either a crochet hook or your knitting needle, slip the hook/needle through the loop of the stitch from front to back. Then catch the lowest horizontal strand and pull it through the loop. Continue upwards until you have caught all of the horizontal strands. Place the stitch back on the left needle with the right side of the leg of the V on the front of the needle. Knit as usual.
